It’s beginning to get chillier outside, which means COVID-19 might start to spike up again. We need to make sure we are all staying safe so school can stay open and we can still learn in real life. Remember, COVID-19 isn’t the only sickness that goes around during the winter so stay safe. Follow these fives guidelines to stay healthy and well. Also look up other ways to stay well during these colder months. Let’s work together to be safe and keep LREI open! I am here to give some ways to stay healthy and safe!
One: Make sure you wash your hands before eating a meal, after traveling from place to place, and definitely after entering school/home/stores/buildings ect.
Two: We need to wear warm clothing. For example puffy coats and vests, warm socks, sweatpants, pants, jeans, leggings, and more. Bring a sweatshirt to school everyday because the classrooms will be chilly since the windows need to be open at all times.
Three: Drink lots of fluids, you need to drink around half a gallon of water a day. You should also drink Vitamin E and other healthy vitamins. Drink warm drinks like tea, hot chocolate, steamed milk, or any drink that will keep you warmed up as the weather changes.
Four: To stay healthy we need to make sure we are not hanging out with too many people without masks on after school. When hanging out with friends not from your Pod try to be safer and social distance and wear masks.
Five: Don’t share food with other people, even if they are your friends. No one should be sharing foods with their friends because that is a very easy way to spread illnesses.
