I will be showing a lot of realistic fiction books so if you don’t enjoy them I apologize, but remember I am writing this article off of my opinion.
- The Universe is Expanding and So Am I is an amazing realistic fiction novel written by Carolyn Mackler. This book is about a 16 year old girl named Virginia who has very little self-esteem. Her family treats her with a enough disrespect to make Virginia cautious about her body and herself. Her life was on a line of normal until the police come knocking at her door calling for her older brother Brian. He was recently suspended from Colombia University due to a terrible incident were a girl in his school accused him of raping her. He has no memory of this but he has no right to say it is not true due to the fact that he was black out drunk at the time. The police take Brian away and Virginia feels her life fall apart piece by piece.
- Tell Me Three Things is a mystery and realistic fiction that is written by Julie Buxbuem. - The Fault in Our Stars is a book written by John Green. This man is my favorite author of all time! This book is a tragic drama starring Hazel Grace Lancaster and who has cancer that has spread to her lungs and is causing her to be very sick and the doctors don’t believe she will live very long. She falls under a deep depression until she meets Augustus Waters who was at her support group to support his friend with eye cancer, little does he know he is seeing the love of his life for the first time.
