There are many places around NYC to go Ice Skating, some indoor, some outdoor, some larger or smaller than others. There are many rinks that could suit any customer. The first place to go skating is Bryant Park (Between 40th and 42nd street, Midtown). The charge of ice skates is $20, and they even have a restaurant called Public Fare, that is a great place to dine after skating. The second place to go skating is Rockefeller Center (45 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10111, Midtown West). Rockefeller Center is a great place to go skating, and won’t be too crowded on ice since only 150 people are allowed on ice at a time. To avoid long lines there is a option to get VIP tickets. When buying these tickets you get to go in a separate lounge and there is many options of cookies, coffee and hot chocolate. Along with renting skates without the hassle. The third place is skating at the Le Frank Center (171 East Dr, Brooklyn, NY 11225, Prospect Park). This is a indoor rink that also has lessons of ice hockey, curling and ice skating. The third and final place is The Standard (848 Washington St, New York, NY 10014, Chelsea). Although it is a small rink, it has penguins to hold onto if your not very comfortable skating as well as restaurant!
