This novel is set in the 1940s and based on a true story of a child being possessed by a demon. It is another well-known classic.
#3- Dracula by Bram Stoker
By now, probably all of you have heard of the common character Dracula. Dracula is a scary vampire and this book is a page turner.
#4- Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
Just like Dracula, Frankenstein is a well-known scary monster. He was created in a lab during a science experiment.
#5- IT by Stephen King
Stephen King makes it on the list twice because of his other great scary book IT. IT is about a creature who can turn into any child’s fear. There was also a movie that came out in 2017. It had Finn Wolfhard, the star of Stranger Things, in it.
