Past Due:

1. Middle School Reflection OR Call to Adventure writing that we started in Writer’s Workshop on Wednesday.

Due Thursday:

1. Read Chapter 25 and 26 (the handout says 25 & 25 by accident) in War and all that Jazz by Joy Hakim. Complete the assigned questions that will help you track and think about the overview of WWII and the Holocaust, which these chapters discuss.  Remember to read all captions and sidebars.

Due Monday:

1. Chapters 18-21 in To Kill A Mockingbird. Read carefully and be quiz ready. Track (make notes) of the characters and events if you need to.  There’s A LOT that happens in these chapters.

* Reminders: Start to pack for D.C. / gather the things that you need for our trip AND complete homework that is due after the break early so you don’t have to worry about this later.

Due Thursday:

1. Complete any incomplete writing on the Middle School reflection that we started in Writer’s Workshop.  This should be at least a page long and it should be an honest and meaningful reflection on one or more of the writing prompts that we handed out today.
2. Review chapter 16 and 17.

Due Tuesday:

• Read Chapter 14 + 15 TKAm and be quiz ready!
