Due Friday, January 23:
1. Prepare for the socratic seminar in Core All by reading the excerpt of the “I Have A Dream” Speech (which you already read). Mark up that section of the speech with connection that you can make to history, people, you life, current events. Write questions that you have in the margins. Underline or highlight significant lines and explain why they’re significant in the margins. Try and find metaphors in the speech that helped King tell his story and connect with the audience.
Due Monday:
1. Complete the reflection on the Socratic Seminar.*
*If you missed the seminar or were absent just do questions 1, 4 (based on your past experience, not on seminar), 5 (again, based on past experience, not on seminar), and 9 & 10.!
