Due Wednesday: Plan your time well! :-)1. S.Q.R.L. notes for Freedom’s Unfinished Revolution pages 263-267.  (We will study the primary sources on page 261 in class so don’t worry that you’re skipping that part.)  You should identify 6 subtitles, make them into questions, read the sections under that subtitle and answer your question.  Remember, this is a note taking strategy that we are practicing.  Yes, there are already questions in the margins of the chapter.  But we are going to try the S.Q.R.L. method anyway.  Remember, in high school and beyond, teachers and professors will expect that you already know how to take notes.  The S.Q.R.L. method is a way to train yourself to take notes on the main ideas of any text book or reference book (on any subject).2.  Personal Narrative draft four.  You’ve been doing a great job.  Don’t go home and just reprint the same ol’ story.  Take the suggestions that I gave to you and that your peer editor gave to you and make some real changes here.  I know who’s faking this editing process and who’s not.  Make a concerted effort to write your best! Your stories are worth it!(*Consider submitting to the Lit Mag this year! )
