F6:
In the Grand Cahier, read the story on page 109. Make sure that you understand it.
Then go back and complete all of the work on pages 106-109 that requires writing.
L6:
Re-read the story in the Grand Cahier on p. 109. Write out the answers to the questions on p. 110, and complete the next section (2) as well.
F6: In the petit cahier, finish pages 67 and 68. You must use your textbook.
L6: Finish and/or correct pages 67 and 68 (last night’s assignment) as a take-home quiz. You may check in your textbook for the vocabulary and the structures.
Also, write out the sentences for p. 66 in the petit cahier (from today’s listening activities) using the correct form of ETRE and the vocabulary for places.
L6:
Clock quiz tomorrow. Study the practice sheet that we made in class today. If you didn’t complete the five “original” clock faces and sentences, in addition to the ten that we workd on together during the activity, this is your homework.
You also should study for the quiz. Your verb project presentations will be tomorrow as well. See me at IWP to practice!
F6:
Quiz on clocks and time. We will do a practice activity first. Be sure to bring paper and pencil to class.
F6:
Study for a short quiz on L’HEURE (telling time) on Tuesday. You will fill in clocks when you hear a time read to you. There will be some sentences that you will need to write out, so be prepared to spell the various times (et quart, et demi(e), moins, etc.) and the other appropriate expressions.
Study pages 56, 57 and 58 in the textbook.
Presentations will also be given, so please be ready to start class right at the beginning of the class. If you didn’t present today, you will share your project on Tuesday.
L6:
You will have a quiz on Tuesday as well. See above information. You will all present your verb projects on Monday.
F6 AND L6:
You will be presenting your verb projects during the next class. For F6 you will present either tomorrow or next Tuesday, depending on the amount of time that we have. Be prepared!
For L6 you will present next Monday. You can come and practice before school. Just let me know that you want to do that by emailing me at shahn@lrei.org. If you have not turned in your project on time, you are losing 5 points per day that it is late!
For both classes, you also need to complete pages 60-67 in the Grand Cahier (from the last two classes) and pp. 43 and 44 in the petit cahier. If you have misplaced your books you must look for them and let me know the situation.
F6:
In the Grand Cahier, complete activities A, C, E, F, G, H and I, pp 60-67 from today’s work in class.
Bring your project to class if you did not turn it in today.
It was due today!
You will be presenting them out loud on Thursday of this week and Tuesday of next week.
Practice pronouncing the verbs.
L6:
COMPLETED PROJECTS DUE TOMORROW WITHOUT AN EXCEPTION.
See me with questions. Everything should have been clarified by now…
Also, complete the activities listed above in F6, which you worked on with Janice yesterday.
Bring your Grand Cahier tomorrow as well as your project.
You will be presenting them out loud on Monday of next week.
Practice pronouncing the verbs.
L6 AND F6:
In the Grand Cahier (big workbook) complete the following work:
D, E, F, and G on pages 52-55.
We will finish the verb project during the next class. If you are behind, you need to catch up for homework as well.
By now, you should have:
1. Typed and corrected sentences;
2. All pictures printed out (you will lose points if you come to class without the work already printed out from now on for all assignments);
3. Everything cut out by the end of the next class and ready to glue onto the poster.
L6:
Write out 15-20 sentences using “je peux, je veux, je dois, je prefere, j’aime, and je n’aime pas.” If you want to be more creative you can also negate “je peux” and other expressions above (example: je ne peux pas) to complete the 20 sentences.
The 6 sentences of “j’aime” and “je n’aime pas” should come from the homework on the bottom of p. 81 in the text.
Bring in pictures representing the activities that you are writing about. THERE ARE NO REPEATS of activities!
F6:
Please add the phrase “je peux” at least once to your sentences.
Come to class prepared with your sentences describing what you like to do, etc. You need a total of 15-20 sentences, using “j’aime, je n’aime pas, je prefere, je veux, je dois” and 15-20 different activities, using the infinitives of the verbs (ending in -ER: danser, for example) as we discussed in class. Bring pictures of the actions and we will begin to put the project together.
