L6: Study for another quiz similar to the one that you had in class today. You need to know the 3 usages of ETRE and how to answer questions both in written and oral form. Nothing new yet for F6.
F6: In the new food packet, complete the last two pages BEFORE the crossword puzzle.L6: Finish your food proposals for me if you have no turned those in. Also, make sure that you have completed act. 9 and act. 1o on p, 89 in the textbook.
The homework that was due today can be turned in during your next class. That includes textbook, p. 89, act. 9 and 10, and the proposal for the food project. Nothing else needs to be done for the food project other than a proposal.
If you did not finish any of the assignments using ETRE that we did in class and for homework this week, it is your responsibility to complete them and give them to me on Monday. You should do some research this weekend to find a French-speaking country or a region in France (go to France.com to find regions) and its food specialty that you would like to cook for the class. You will be doing various activities related to this dish, so spend some time finding something that interests you and that you will be able to prepare at home. Write me a proposal about the place (why is it a French-speaking place?) and why the dish interests you. You will be cooking in a few weeks!
F6: Quiz is next Tuesday, paragraph is due tomorrow.L6: BOTH are due on Monday. I. Type your paragraph about the profession that we began in class today. You should add additional sentences so that there are 10 in total. The paragraph must include:1. The name of the person and his/her profession; 2. Where the person is; 3. Four sentences about what s/he is doing using -ER verbs (check conjugation rules!); 4. One activity that s/he is NOT doing; 5. Two adjective descriptions sentences about the person; 6. One sentence about WHAT s/he LIKES to do (using “aimer” and another verb.) This uses a lot of the structures that we are currently learning and what we have already learned. Pay attention to the details of the various conjugations. II. Quiz on ETRE! Know how to conjugate the verb correctly and how to write sentences using the places on p. 85 in the textbook, the professions, and adjectives.
