Re-read page 124 in the textbook, and then write a letter to me using Nathalie’s letter as a guide.

Substitute all of your own personal information. For extra credit, include at least 5 descriptions (using different adjectives) about a few of the people or places that you mention in your paragraph.

Both sections:

Using the notes from today’s class about transition sentences, now write out your second paragraph of your Summer Description.

Use the adjective sentences (there are 10 of those that you have already written) and add a transition sentence in between each one, like you did with the verb sentences in your previous assignment. You will be adding 9 sentences to your paragraph.

Both sections :

Using your rough drafts about the summer activity, write  2 paragraphs about your picture.

1. The first one is to include your activity sentences (verbs). You need to have 9 sentences total for this paragraph. Write a transition sentence in between each sentence that you have already written.

Example:

Je joue au foot. transition: Mes amis jouent avec moi. OR: Le match est difficile.

The transition has to say something additional about your original sentence’s activity.

2. The second paragraph should include all of the adjective sentences (10 total). We will add to that later.

This must be typed or written out and ready to hand in at the beginning of class. “On my computer” will be counted late.

Review the packet, pages 114-115 in the textbook, and the interrogative expressions, as well as regular -ER verbs.

Both sections: Test on review material on Friday.

Faire, etre, avoir, aimer, habiter, etc. need to be conjugated and used in sentences.

Question words, sentences structures using question words, negation and inversion will be assessed.

Use all of the information that we have been working on this past week and last week to help you to study.

M7 and E7:

Your first Unit Test will be next Friday! This is a review test, so study pages 114 and 115 in the textbook.

Use the work that we did in class today as a study guide, as well as doing your own format (notecards, workbook material, etc.)

Write out the dialogs (all of them) on p. 113, act.3 in the textbook.

Follow the example in the book. You may type this, but it will not be accepted if it is not printed out and ready to turn in at the very beginning of the class…
