Read page 188 in the textbook (we read it together in class today) and write out the following:  Find ALL of the verbs in each sentence. 1. Write the SUBJECT and the VERB that go together  2. Determine what the INFINITIVE is that the verb is conjugated from.                             Examples:                       1. Je vais/2. aller                     1. Elles voyagent/ 2. voyager

Final cultural projects, including ten questions in French, the completed pamphlet and the bibliography are due on Tuesday. On Thursday you will all present the project. Please tell me if you are planning to bring a cooked specialty from you city as extra credit.

All of your research for your travel brochure MUST be done up to the tourist section by tomorrow. Notes need to be detailed with names, locations, dates, etc. You need more resources than the internet. The encyclopedia as well as a travel guide are also necessary. Keep your bibliographical information organized. It is part of the requirements for the final product.

 Both sections: Continue to work on the research for your project. You must be finished up through the important sites section on the outline. This includes 1. a park; 2. a cathedral; 3. at least 2 additional monuments; 4. a museum; 5. an additional site that interests you. Be sure that your History section has important dates such as 1. When the city was founded; 2. Who founded the city (a “tribe”/ a settlement/ another country; 3. Significant wars; 4. at least 2 people that impacted the city.

V7: If you did not turn in your City Project Proposal during class today, complete that for next time. If you have been given a topic already, begin to look for research on the topics in the first section of the outline that you were given. M7: Bring your proposal.

As I explained in class today, find a picture of a celebrity/cartoon character and describe him/her using the two ways that we learned: Il/Elle est + adjective AND C’est un/une + noun + adjective (or put the BAGS rule adjective before the noun). Alternate the two ways to describe the character so that you end up with 5 of each type of sentence (see above examples) and 10 different adjectives. The goal is to have us be able to guess without seeing the character. You will attach it to the sentences after you present.
