Project presentations due next week, including food, as follows:

Tuesday: Parker

Wednesday: Alma, Matan, Ruby

Thursday: Naomi, Samantha, Violet, Catherine

Friday: Ivo, Ben, Cheyenne

Poster must include:

a timeline, a map (not simply downloaded), pictures of the geographical aspects, climate description with some illustration or pictures, a picture of the specialty dish with the ingredients and the recipe in French, all headings and topics in French.

Presentation is based on the 10 question hand-out, which needs to be turned in, along with the research notes.

Practice your presentation! Pronunciation, numbers in French, ingredients all need to reflect preparation.

M8 AND S8:

ALL research, the conclusion, the 3 recipes, and the French questionnaire are due on Friday. No late work will be accepted without a full letter grade subtracted from the final project.

If you do not have a questionnaire, you must find me tomorrow during IWP.

No exceptions!!!!

We will also go over Un Ete from Thursday’s class the next time we meet.

I will be on the 7th grade trip tomorrow. Your homework will be assigned during the class with the sub for over the weekend.

For tomorrow, complete your final drafts of your Spring Break compositions.

S8 and M8:

Have everything that was due for today as well as important sites and food specialties of your country for the next class tomorrow…

1. Finish all of the history research for your project. Organize your facts on notecards or typed with bullet points.

2. Finish pages 37-39 in the Petit Cahier.

M8:

Un Ete, chapter 12, A-D. ALso, bring your petit cahier next time.

Don’t forget the reflections and the work to be put into your Advisory folders.

M8 and S8:

1. Finish your reflections

2. Complete your journal revision if you have not done so (after getting it back from me: if you didn’t get it, don’t worry!)

3. Read Un Ete, chapter 12, write down the vocabulary, and define the words.

S8 and M8:

In the textbook complete activities 2 and 6 on pages 98 and 99. Write out full French sentences for activity 6.

Study the Martinique information for a short quiz next time.
