Read pages 31-49 and be quiz-ready. Define the 10 vocabulary words and put them in sentences that demonstrate their meanings. Do 3 character maps–one for Wes, one for Gail, one for David. Character Map Template (this is one–you need to make 3 of them, so print three times or copy it). See handout for vocabulary words and detailed instructions.

* I recommend you spend time making your personal narrative strong and clear this weekend!  Next week, you will have other assignments nightly.

Due Wednesday, December 10:

First full draft of personal narrative with focus on the heart of the piece! (cut out any extra parts that explain and cut to the heart of the matter. Then, expand the heart  to be filled with detail so that it is alive!  See yesterday’s post on SHOW DON’T TELL and for the criteria). Your draft should be 2-3 pages minimum, typed.
