Our library is a wonderful resource for classes, teachers, students, and families – for all of us. The library is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00AM-5:30PM and Fridays from 8:00AM-3:30PM. While classes are not formally scheduled for the library, teachers are encouraged to make appointments to bring their groups to the library to work with librarian Stacy Dillon.  The link to the library catalogue, databases, libguides and other links is here.

The library and the tech lab are available for independent use by seventh and eighth graders after school; a parent or caregiver must accompany younger students. During after school hours students should remember that:

  • Computers are for study only, no games,  personal email or non-work related surfing
  • Some card playing or quiet chatting is allowed, but not at the expense of bothering others who are studying. Study is given priority, groups that are too loud will be given one warning and then asked to leave.
  • Speech must also be monitored, as we share this space with LS students and their caregivers. Students will be asked to leave if they are heard using inappropriate language
  • There is an understanding that the library is never absolutely silent, but every effort should be made to be respectful of others who are using the space.

The tech lab has about 15 desktop macs and is available as a space to bring classes by  appointment. Please talk to tech integrator Celeste Dorsey about reserving the space. This is also where Celeste is based, is location of our printers and our collection of tech devices that are available to reserve.
