1)  Due Tuesday, 3/8/11:  Page 20:  Investigation 2.1 part C1.  On one set of axes, you are to graph the two area equations (n^2    and    n^2 – 4) from the table.

Use x-values -10 to 10    and     y-values -10 to 100.

2)  BTB #17 due next Wednesday, 3/9.

Wednesday, 2/23/11

We began the quadratics unit today.  If you weren’t there, I will give you a copy of the notes from Investigation 1.1.  You are responsible for reviewing pages 2 through 6.

EXPONENTIAL OPERATIONS TEST IS TOMORROW! Multiplying and dividing monomials, power to a power rule, combining like terms, distributive property, etc.

Thursday, 2/17/11

1)  NO TEST TOMORROW – You will have it next Wednesday.

2)  Tomorrow is the last time you will have to meet with your partner because the project is due next Wednesday too.

Friday, 2/11/11

ERBs begin next Tuesday:

1)  On Tuesday: Quantitative reasoning (no calculator) and math part 2 (if you want to, bring in your own calculator that you know how to use (otherwise you will have a graphing or blue calculator to use).

2) On Wednesday: Math part 1 (no calculator)

Review the ERB reference packet.  If you have one, don’t forget your lucky #2 pencil and a good eraser. =)
