There is no homework due the next time we have class but you should be studying for the test and working on your practice set.

You will have a test on adding and subtracting fractions on Friday, October 2, 2009.

Most of the test will be computation, there will also be a few word problems involving adding and subtracting fractions.

In order to make sure you know how to solve the types of problems that will be on Friday’s test you must practice!

As we discussed in class…

  • this weekend you can use columns ‘c’ and ‘d’ on the worksheet you already have.
  • try the problems, then check the answers below.
  • if you get the answers correct, great!
  • if you get the problems wrong, try again.
  • if you still get the problem wrong, see me during IWP on Tuesday or Wednesday.
