We are so lucky that we go to school in the heart of NYC. And there is nowhere better than NYC to get the best insta worthy, colorful, trendy food. Here is 5 places to get amazing food all walking distance from school.
- Ice NYC: Is NYC is a rolled ice cream shop. Rolled ice cream has been becoming a huge trend recently, plus it tastes amazing. What is really cool about It NYC is that you can customize everything in it from the base to the topping to the mixins the possibilities are endless.
- NY Frost Factory: just across the street from Icy NY is NY Frost Factory.Frost Factory NY is described as a snow ice dessert and that is just what it is. It is the coolest experience, they take a block of ice and shave it until you have ice cream that tastes just like flavored snow. It is such a unique texture, and sooooo close to school definitely worth a try.
- Playa Bowl. Playa Bowl originated in New Jersey and it is extremely popular there. Whenever I would go to the beach I would always get Playa Bowl. That is why I was so excited to find out it was coming to NYC! Playa bowl is an acai bowl shop but they also serve pitaya. Acai and pitaya bowls are not only delicious but they are healthy too. At Playa Bowl you can order a bowl from the menu or build your own. So good!
- Do: Do is infamous, a cookie dough cafe. Yes you heard that right, Do looks just like an ice cream shop but they serve you scoops of cookie dough instead. If you are willing to wait in the long line, it is definitely worth it to get this very very sweet treat.
- Popbar. Popbar is a shop filled with popsicles. They have everything from fruit to chocolate to caramel flavors. And even better every pop you get you can dip in a chocolate and top with peanuts and sprinkles. Right next door to the infamous Joe’s Pizza you can grab a slice and a pop, a perfect meal!
