Q: There’s a group of friends I’d like to get closer to. I feel like we’re all already kind of “good friends” but we rarely hang out outside of school. They keep saying they’ll invite me, but then never do, and I don’t feel like I’m in a position where I can ask all of them instead. They’re really cool and I want to know them better, but I also don’t want to seem annoying. What should I do?

A: If you feel like you are already “good friends” you should talk to them about how you feel. I understand not wanting to seem annoying but you also don’t want to just wait around hoping they’ll invite you to something. If it seems as if they are intentionally avoiding you maybe you should rethink wanting to be friends with them because that is not a healthy dynamic.

Hope I could help 🙂
