Dear Students,
Just a reminder that the final update (including work produced during the course of the project), reflection on learning and the project poster are due this Monday, June 7.
If you did not complete one or both of the first two updates, please be sure to include that information as well when you are making the final update for the project.
If you are not sure how to access your page to make these edits, please read this info, which has been updated with new information based on your feedback.
A project is eligible for credit only if the following requirements have been completed:
- a general description if the scope/intent of the project (you can likely use in full or adapt the description from your project application)
- the required progress updates (weeks 1-3, weeks, 4-6, and weeks 7-9) are on your project page
- your project page includes evidence your project’s final work product
- a final reflection on your learning over the course of the project is included
- you have created a poster that summarizes your project (a display/exhibit in the building or a performance of your work may be substituted for the poster requirement. You can save your poster as an image and add it to your project page. You should also share or email a copy of the poster to Mark Silberberg (msilberberg@lrei.org).
- Note: even if you are planning to continue your project next year, the poster is required. All of the other above requirements are still required. Continuing projects will be required to submit a new application with new goals at the start of T1 when the request for new applications goes out.
You should also review these two posts and reflection and the project poster:
A reminder that these updates are a requirement of the honors project.
Project Mentors, please check in with your students to make sure that these requirements are completed and that the Honors Project Dashboard is updated. You may want to use it as the basis for framing a conversation at this week’s check-in.
Don’t hesitate to be in touch if you have questions.
Best,
Mark
