Description of the Project:
Final reflection on learning:
Final Product (e.g., documents, images, video, audio, poster, display, etc.):
Update on Progress from Weeks 1-3 (include any photos or video if relevant):
During the first few weeks of my project, I worked to narrow my focus to a specific issue relating to mass transit. I began to research the pandemic’s affect on MTA service and many of the alternative transportation options that are already available in New York.
Update on Progress from Weeks 4-6 (include any photos or video if relevant):
During weeks 4-6, I continued my research by exploring alternative modes of transportation in other cities, and how their adoption in New York could affect commute times and make traveling short distances by car unnecessary. I also began to think about what my final product should be.
Update on Progress from Weeks 7-9 (include any photos or video if relevant):
During the final weeks of my project, I wrapped up my research by creating a slideshow, embedded above, that outlines the findings of my research, showing not just the many alternative transportation options available, but also programs put in place during Covid that could have a long-lasting effect on our city streets.
