For this project, I focused on listening to and reviewing shoegaze albums. I learned how to review albums and learned what components make a good shoegaze album. I made a list of my opinion of the top 5 shoegaze albums of all time and produced a final product sharing it.

The first 3 weeks I spent learning what makes a good album and how to properly review an album. I watched multiple videos and read and some articles and wrote down notes and a format on how to review an album. My format consists of an intro that gives a history and a little information on the album. Then the body which discusses things in the albums such as characerticts, good and bad and songs and more. And finally, the conclusion wraps up the album as a whole and ties everything together. All the things I learned on how to review albums will be implemented into my format.
I also finalized the list of my opinion on the top 5 shoegaze albums of all time. My list goes as followed:

Update on Progress from Weeks 4-6:
I have started to finish up my reviews on each album using my format and what I need to look for in an album. I have done about 3 and have to finish the last two albums. What I am learning is that shoegaze really makes the listener feel a certain way whether that is happy, sad, excited, or chill, and how the album makes you feel is reflective of whether or not the album is a good album and if it is strong or not.
