Project by: Tristan Blazer (11th Grade)
Project Advisor: Toby Zitsman
Student(s)’s Advisor(s): Jane Belton
Description of the Project:
In this project, I learned how to code in the coding language Python.
Final Product (e.g., documents, images, video, audio, poster, display, etc.):
My final project will be some sort of display that I created myself using Python that describes my process. In addition, I will take notes in a notebook to refer back to.
Final Reflection on Learning:
Through this project I discovered that I learn better when working alongside a lesson. While watching the video I would copy the code and attempt to figure out how to get outcomes before the video explained them. By working alongside the video I gained a deeper understanding of python and how to use it. Another strategy I used that benefited me was how I took notes on every new concept introduced, and defined every new term, so that if I forgot how to do something, or what something meant I could always look back. Overall I think working alongside and taking notes is a learning method that works very well for me.
