Please write a description of the project you are proposing. Why do you want to take this on, and what do you hope to learn?

Our honors project will be a documentary about our experiences doing community service. We are planning on exploring New York City, volunteering with a variety of organizations (food pantries, soup kitchens, senior care centers, etc.) and documenting our experiences outside of the school day. In the end, we plan on making a documentary about our community service work. We want to take this on because we want to learn more about giving back to our city and community.

What is your proposed outcome? How will you be able to demonstrate successful completion of this Project?

Our proposed outcome would be a documentary about our volunteer work and experiences.

Who is your Honors Project Teacher, and when do you plan on meeting?

Our Honors Project teacher is Elisabeth Ingwerson Mendez and we plan on meeting every Friday during X-block.
