My Name: Volkswagen III

My Story: My name is Volkswagen III and I am from Wankendorf, Germany I am 27 and I do not shave. I am from a family of stonemasons that have all worked on the same castle for generations now. This is because every time someone from our family goes to work on it, they get crushed by big rock and the next person in our family has to take over for them but then they get crushed by big rock so it’s just a never ending cycle. Now I’m just waiting until the moment I get crushed by big rock too, then my son Volkswagen IV will take over for me then get crushed by big rock. (Sort of a grin view of things)

My Job: Quarry worker

I am a wall builder and wall builders are important because . . .

Without walls the castles could easily be taken over.

To do this work, I use the following kinds of tools:

Stone. (Don’t you use tools on the stone? What are the tools that facilitate this work?)

Some other related and interesting facts about building cities, castles, churches and/or mosques that I plan to share with visitors to our guild:

Cathedrals took longer to build than castles.

The cathedral was taller than the castle wall.

Blacksmiths are a type of stonemason.

Multiple types of chisels (Can you say more about this? Seems related to the questions above about tools.)

When visitors visit me in the guild this is what I plan to do as a way to show them about my work:

In order to do this, I’ll need to create the following materials:

Stone blocks, chisel, template.

For my costume, I plan to . . .

For the top part of my outfit I will get one of my dad’s shirts and tie a string around it at my waist and wear some sort of scarf around my neck. For the bottom part I will wear tight pants and something like old leather shoes.
