My Name: Dimitri

My Story:My name is Dimitri. I am 15 years old and I am from Moscow Russia. I am the eldest of four but, my brothers all got eaten by bear. I also had a father but, he was also eaten by bear.  My father Vladimir, was a stone mason too. He was working on castle in Carlingford Ireland. When Vladimir went back to Russia he got eaten by bear, so now I have to go work on castle wall with my good friend Henry Gilbert II. Although I like working on castle in Ireland, all we have to eat there is potatoes and more potatoes.

My Job: I carve out stone for the castle wall and I also build castle wall. What is the process for doing this?

I am a stone carver and stone carver’s are important because we carve the stone for the castle.

stone masons didn’t only work in stone. What else did they do?

there was a special rock in the castle wall called the butis that would make the castle stronger. How did it work? What about its design made it special?

When visitors visit me in the guild this is what I plan to do doing as a way to show them about my work:

I will be carving something and I will teach the visitors about the three different chisels.

In order to do this, I’ll need to create the following materials:
