2. Continue preparing for your Booktalks.  We will use the computers tomorrow during A.M. Core to work on them.

3. Commit your medieval pageant lines to memory! You will have extended Drama tomorrow so make sure you know your stuff!

4.  Your ABCs of Islam final draft will be due on Monday.  I’m still sorting through the rough drafts.  You will get your rough drafts back soon.  We will be using the computers during A.M. Core to work on your bibliography.

5. Vocab test on Friday.  Words are below:

1. Mantle: a cloak; something that covers.
2. Prelude: a brief period that comes before a series of events and often sets the stage for what is to follow.
3. Stalemate: a situation in which there are no clear victors; a draw.
4. Vizier: a high official in the lands ruled by Muslims.
5. Vulnerable: open to attack; weak
6. Dismay: concerned disbelief.
7. Negotiated: to come to an agreement with another party through a series of discussions.
8. Ransomed: to gain someone’s release from imprisonment in return for a payment of money.
9. Reinforcements: additional troops and food with which to wage war.
10. Renounced: to reject and turn away from.
11. Truce: a period in which no fighting takes place.
