2. Bring in your Hamlet books tomorrow. We’ll be reading from the play during our Core All.

3. Bring in your Current Events articles and make sure you have enough for all group members. We’ll be doing this all Thursday.

4. Write one paragraph that shows the setting of your Lost Hamlet creative writing. Remember good setting shows the time, location, and place of the story. It also includes the main backdrop and mood of the tale.

Ask yourself these questions when writing the setting:

1. Did I put in details that make it obvious that the story is taking place in the Middle Ages?

2. Will the reader know what season and what time of day it is?

3. How can I put these details in the story by showing the characters interacting with the setting and not just telling the reader about it?
