1. IRB. Try to dive into your book today and make some real headway. There is no formal assignment due tomorrow, so make sure you read at least 30 minutes tonight. Set a goal (example: 30 pages or 2 chapters – depending on how long a chapter is) and try to achieve it.

2. Work on your Timeline Notecards. There is an example for you to use under “Pages,” “Timeline Notecard.” I have booked some library time on Thursday this week, and for a few days next week. However, do not assume you will be able to do all your research during these times. The public library and local bookstores are good resources for you. Make sure you jot down the resources you use so that you can cite them.

3. Tomorrow we are going to launch the epic tale, Beowulf. You will be given daily reading assignments starting Wednesday.

4. Disk Field day (11:00am – 2:15pm) tomorrow. Make sure you pack a lunch. You will have all your morning classes as usual and will arrive back at LREI for 3pm dismissal.

5. Don’t forget to share all the graded assignments I gave you today with your parents.
