This week at NawLaw I got to do a combination of fun things. First, I updated the 130 & AOS (Petitioner’s questionnaire) and green card application documents. It was cool to get to see the legal documents used in the law firm. A client also came in with a disabled son he was sitting in the waiting room and I waved to him. Then after asking his mom I gave him an Oreo (they always have a huge stash of Oreos at the firm). He was really happy and pretended to fly around the room. It was a nice interaction I had with the clients.
I also got to work on the Happy Easter, Good Friday and Passover Newsletter. The head of the firm, Neil Weinrib, is an amazing photographer and I was challenged with the task of taking a ton of his photographs and turning it into an E-Card. When looking at the photos on his phone I saw how gorgeous it looked as a grid and decided to do that for the E-Card. Normally each E-card only has one photo but I thought the grid idea would look really cool. I then decided to add the text of the card on top of the photos. I made the font NawLaw green or #115b27 (yes I have memoried the Hex code for the NawLaw green). I then added white text behind it to really make it pop. I think it turned out really good! Here is the photo part of the email below.

After I sent out the email my boss, Neil Weinrib, sent me an email.
It was so nice to see the ECard I did was such a big hit. Especially to get a personal email from my boss. It is true a little good feedback does go a long way 🙂 Now I want to take more time out of my day to compliment the little things about the people I love.
