“A week ago our class had to choose a place to have a picnic. Once each kid chose a place, we found out how long it would take to get there and how we would get there. We made presentations of where we wanted to go. Then we voted on where to go. Prospect Park won because that group had the most votes.

We took the B train to get there. Once we got there, we went to the boat house to eat lunch and write poem ideas. After that we went to the hidden waterfall to play. Then we went to a playground nearby. After that we headed back to school. I thought the trip was really fun!”- Gus
