“Women are most of the time smaller and sometimes weaker. You would think that men would protect women, but instead they take advantage of their weaknesses. This sexist culture has been going on since the bible was written, and earlier. In the original bible Adam had a wife named Lilith, but they soon divorced and Lilath married The Devil. Even from the bible(that was written by men) men have believed that women are associated with The Devil. Adding on to the theory of women being allies with the devil, women usually dealt with the sick. If one of there patients had The Black Plague, there was a better chance that a woman would get the disease rather than a man. In the middle ages 7 to 10 thousand people were burned at the steak, most of them women,”(Lou Roehr, colonial interpreter, Oct 18, Williams Burg VA, 2o16).
