Hunting in the colonial Era
Hunting and fishing was a necessity for the well being of the Colonists and the Indians. Hunting and fishing was used by Africans, English, and Indians. Tools like the Rifle, Spear, Fowling piece and many more were used for hunting and fishing. The methods like groundfishing, trapping, hiding and more were all needed to make a successful outing. Most strategies, weapons, and tools used then are still used today. They obviously have evolved but they are still used. These have impacted hunting a lot and without them hunting would not be what it is today. Some people still live off the land and hunt for their survival like in the colonial times. Some hunters today reference the old hunting strategies to help their hunt.
