Title of Paper: Slavery: The Terrible Truth of Colonial America
Author: Miles T.
Year: 2015
Slavery was a terrible part of history, but it played an essential role in Colonial America’s survival. Without slaves to farm the crops and help the masters, there would be no money. The Africans could easily get fed up with all this work and would resist these harsh work treatments given to them by confused Americans. This lead to battles, murders, and even war. Slaves did a lot of the hard work that the Europeans weren’t able to accomplish. The Africans made every penny of money that the English worked “so hard” for to create this country. Every pound of cotton and every pound of tobacco was farmed by the Africans. Without the employment and hard work of the slaves, there would be no America. The Africans are the true founding fathers (and mothers) of America.
