Weather report

Project  Description

You are a Chinese travel agency. Next week, you will have a group of students travel in your city. You need to post a weather report on your website.

Requirement

  1. Pick a city in China. (It could be a 直辖市 (municipality), or a capital city of a province). Do a research of the weather of that city.

2. Write a 7-day weather report. In your report, you should include:

    • Weather condition for 7 days
    • Highest and lowest temperature of each day
    • suggestion for what to wear or bring
    • suggestion for activities one should or shouldn’t do during the day

3. Write a weather report (type in Chinese) and make a video of your weather report.In your video, it could be a TV anchor, or a diagram, or slideshow, etc.

Evaluation

  • video(50%)

fluency, clear pronunciation,consistent use of Chinese during the video.

  • script (50%)

correct use of words and grammar, correct characters, coherence,  clean typing, content covered.

Schedule

In Class:

Oct 9      first draft of your script

Oct 11    second draft of your script

Oct 12    make your video

Homework: finish what you didn’t finish in class.
