Shark Tank Simulation

On our spaceship, the “shark” is the human crew! We are the “shark” because we eat the minnows or the animals. We are also the biggest predator. Another connection between the shark and us is that (in the simulation) there is a lot less sharks than the minnows and seaweeds and on the ship there are less human crew than the animals and the plants.

On our spaceship, the “minnows” are the animals! Well… the minnows are really protein, but on my spaceship my source of protein will be animals. Animals are like minnows because they still eat (seaweed/plants) but they also get eaten (by us!) Everyone has to have a balanced diet but especially minnows/animals because they need to eat but not too much because then you lose the seaweed and every dies after that.  If seaweed die, minnows have no food and die, if minnows die, the sharks have no food and die. It’s a food chain and the minnows are right in the middle.

On our spaceship, the “seaweed” is the plants! The plants are like seaweed because they get eaten but they don’t eat anything. The minnows eat them and they just die.
