This is my canopic jar that I made during art class, I am proud of it because I worked really hard on it. Canopic jars were meant to keep the different insides in, there are four different kinds the falcon, jackal, human and ape.
This Quarter I have been struggling with percents, but with all of the practice now I feel so much better about doing it. This is one of my practice sheets that I used.
In science class our assignment was, we all got a different species the species were seaweed, sharks and minnows. There was 1 shark, 4 minnows and 15 seaweeds. Here is how you play the game, the sharks have to eat 2 minnows every round to survive and if they eat 2 or more they can reproduce. And if you are a seaweed who ever survives reproduces. The round that is above is our first attempt to everyone surviving did not turn out very well but in our second attempt we all survived this is how we did it. Every round everyone ate just what they needed to survive and after we did this we had enough seaweed so that everyone could reproduce. I hope you liked my post!
I think gun violence is is a very important topic because ever day about 31 americans die every day because of guns. This is not fair for the people that die, no one should have to die that way it is simply unfair. I think one thing maybe we could try and fix is every day guns are handed over to people how should not have them. One way we can try to prevent this is if when a gun is sold or bought the person should be tested to make sure we can rely on them to be safe with a gun.
I think the test should be when you try and by a gun you must show them your citizenship license so they can make sure you are worthy with a gun. Also if your record shows you have been to jail or you are wanted you should obviously not give them a gun. But guns can be useful because what if you needed to protect yourself? What if you were a hunter? But all I am saying is gun should not just be handed out like they might have been in the past.
This is my collage of a dog, ball and a vase. The steps of making it took a really long time because first you had to pant and draw the pages to rip up and collage. Something I learned in the making of my collage is after you make cool art work you don’t want to rip it up also I learned it is hard to find the right shape to place. And I think this represents my best work because I worked really hard on it and i am really proud of it!
This is my zoetrope, a zoetrope is a circle of pictures that makes it look like something is happening. Mine is of a cat slowly going up into outer space. while I was making my zoetrope I realized it is pretty difficult to draw a cat going into outer space. Also I learned it is hard to make the same picture every time with only a little change. And I think this shows my best work because I worked really hard and I was proud of it!
This my math test it was on factorization s and prime factorization s. I am proud of it because I worked really hard on it and I think I did pretty good on it. Something I am working on is my understanding of factorization s But I think after the test and a lesson about it I got how to do it much better. And I think from now on I know how to make a factorization strings!
In Science class we were told to make an atom in tinker cad. The atom I made was a Helium atom. I made my atom in Tinker Cad it’s really fun and cool! But anyway the reason I chose this atom is because I think Helium is really cool looking. I hope you liked it!
These pictures are from the Ashokan! In one of them I was being guided by Clarissa down a huge hill blind folded! It was crazy I didn’t even trip once. I liked how I did not know where I was going! In the second one is a picture of the sheep two sheep (right now I forget their names) but the gout’s name was Lucy. They were adorable and they were trying to eat our apples when we walked by. And in the last picture my group and I were playing a game where you could not make up an order and you could not signal, but you had to make up to ten. You would do this by yelling out the next number without someone else doing it to. It took forever but we actually made it up to twenty. Anyway the Ashokan was tons of fun and I am super excited to go next year!
When I was making this font is was really difficult to get the idea I really liked right. Something that was hard to do was figure out how all the rules could could e used for every letter. And the name of the font is called BLOCK! I choose this because my font is kind of like blocks. Hope you enjoyed it! BYE!
