Athens

When we finally arrived in Greece I was so excited to explore and although I was really tired (we were 7 hours ahead) we still decided to explore. On our second day we were really thrilled to go on our daylong tour. First we went to the place where they held the first modern Olympic games. It was so cool! It was built all the way back in 1896. Also Athens held the first ancient Olympic games in 776 BC. Then we went on and saw many ancient temples like the temple of Poseidon, the temple of Zeus and the temple of Athena Nike. A fun fact is the reason they now call this city Athens is because Athena’s gift to the city (an olive tree) was better then Zeus’s (a spring).

Mykonos

During Mykonos most of the time I swam but what I thought was really cool was when I swam with the fish. The reason I liked this so much is because I got a lot of bread so I could feed them. So I went into the water and started to adjust to the temperature. After I got in I started to spread out the bread and one after another the fish came in. They were so pretty! I saw so many different ones like some metallic looking ones and some were rainbow. I had a great time!

Santorini

When we got to Santorini I was so tired I wanted to go to sleep so badly but I couldn’t because if you do then your time schedule will be all messed up. So I was just very tired through the day. The next morning after I had gotten some rest we went shopping. While we were shopping I asked about a blue eye looking thing. The reason I asked was because it was in every shop. So I found out they call it an evil eye. They do this because it watches over you. To me it’s a little creepy!
