Spanish Skeleton
This is the skeleton that I made for the day of the dead. I drew my aunt, Silvia that died in 2014. I liked this assignment because this made me remember her more.

Coat of arms
This is my coat of arms that I made in humanities class. We are studying the Medieval times and there were no photos back then so, there were coats of arms that represents each family. I put purple on the coat of arms because it represents royalty. I put the elephant, bear, and the oak tree on the coat of arms because it represents strength and I think my family is very strong. The laurel leaves are there because my family does no harm. I put the unicorn on the shield because i think my family is brave. My grandparents came to the u.s. From Italy with nothing and made a new life and prospered. It takes strength and courage to bring peace to the world.

becoming a knight monolouge
Today is the day I fast to become a knight, and tonight I will go to the church to pray. I have been waiting all my life for this long and hard process and it is finally here, becoming famous and fighting is my dream and tomorrow it will come true after the king strikes me with the flat of my sword. I am afraid that after my first battle I will be wounded or killed because I don’t want to be a family disappointment, and I don’t want to die.
The sun has set now and I am going to the church to pray and put my armor beside me. This will prove that I’m strong, brave, and that it is fate for me to become a knight. I hear nothing as I pray and wish to become a knight. I only see my armor and the big huge cross at the front of the church. I feel proud because my whole family were knights and I don’t want to stop the tradition. I feel excited because I can’t wait to get my weapons and horse because I like having a lot of responsibility. I´m going to try to get into the round table so I can become famous, and so everybody will know who I am.

Sceince Diorama
Our Model Is of the Ashokan Watershed. The story of the Ashokan reservoir is that NYC was really smart and bought the area were the watershed takes place, and than put giant restriction on that area so no one could build anything on their new property. In doing this they make it so no one can interfere with the watershed making it so the water is completely natural.

Ashoken Paragraph
The best part of Ashokan is the ropes course. They have a good system to keep you safe from falling, breaking something and saying it was the worst trip ever. Before you go on the ropes course you have to put on a harness and a helmet to protect yourself. Then you have spotters to help you go up the ladder to the course without falling. Then you have to pull and clip the carabiner to the hole in your harness and you try to complete the first part. When you complete the first part of the course you clip the next carabiner to the hole then you clip out of the other carabiner. I think that the zipline was the best part of the ropes course. It was my first time on a zipline and it felt like I was flying. There are many fun activities at Ashokan but a fun, hard, challenge is the best and that is the ropes course.

summer reflection
This summer I did exciting things. I visited Cancun, Mexico and Barbados with my family, I went to soccer and basketball camps with friends, played in a beach soccer tournament in Cape Cod and went to my family country house in Catskill, NY. In Catskill I had numbers of options of what to do. I could swim in the pool, go on a rope swing in a creek on the property and, go to a mini golf/go kart place called Puttin’ Plus. But that’s not all. One weekend 3 out of my 4 cousins on my dad’s side named Sofia, Luciana and Vittorio came to my country house. This was special to me because Sofia lives in North Carolina and I only see her twice a year. Sofia has hazel eyes, light skin, a contagious smile and long brown hair. Luciana also has long, brown hair, beautiful brown eyes, and a nice tan. Vittorio has brown eyes, a cool tan, awesome short brown hair. During the 2 hour drive, it poured and my aunt got nervous so we stopped and had dinner at a Japanese restaurant called Mt.Fuji on top of a hill overlooking New York. We eventually arrived at the house. We got there at 1:00 in the morning and immediately went to bed. For the next two days we swam and played games. We had memory making times. I’m really sad that the summer is gone, but it’s nice to see friends from school for the first time in a while.

In a Glass Grimmly
I read a book called In a Glass Grimmly by Adam Gidwitz. This book comes second in the grimm series. Its about Jack and Jill but a more creepier version. Jill’s mom was royal and lived in the castle, Jack’s dad was royal but wanted to do the work of a pesant so he moved out. In a Glass Grimmly and a tale dark and grimm are very similar. Jack and Jill, Hansel and Gretel are all royal, they run away from home, they have great adventures, they come back and become king and queen and, they both have happy endings. The difference is that they have different adventures. Hansel and Gretel try to find different and better parents while Jack and Jill try to look for a magical mirror.

Beach Tournament in Cape Cod
On August 6th I had a beach soccer tournament in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. On the 5th, my dad and I drove there, it was a 6 hour drive because of all the traffic. We stayed at a teammate named Nick’s house because he had a country house there. I played with my old team from Albany, NY. The tournament was tough but we all played as a team and won. This picture is of me holding up the trophy. Oh and if your wondering what happened to one of my teammates arm, he fractured it at one of the games. The ball hit his arm unintentionally and then fell on the same arm. I learned that the drive from NYC to Cape Cod is way longer than I thought. I saw and visited my friend’s house and all my friends on the soccer team. I discovered that my team can come back from losing 2-1 in the finals to win 3-2. I built more teamwork with my team that I was on. I expirienced the thrill of victory and I felt very happy to win a big tournament against the reigning champions in the finals.

Barbados trip
This picture was taken in Bridgetown, Barbados at a wedding with my mom, cousin and, another cousin who is hopefully going to be the next prime minister of Barbados. I learned that Barbados is made out of limestone and plankton’s shells, and that the country is turning 50 this November. I saw and visited Harrison’s cave, a beautiful limestone cave. I discovered that the water in Barbados has one of the purest waters ever because it gets filtered through the limestone. I built relationships with cousins, aunts, a monkey named Charlie and, his owner named Micah. The reason I went to Barbados with my mom and cousin was because of a wedding and I felt all the love there was. This trip felt special because I met family for the first time that I’ve always wanted to meet.
This is Charlie, a green monkey who loves to nibble.
This is me outside of the Barbados Hilton resort. These signs say to go left. This one says go me.

Club med Cancùn trip
This photo is from a trip with my dad’s side of the family. We went to Club Med in Cancùn, Mexico. The trip was for my dad’s 50th birthday and my grandfather’s 75th birthday. I learned that in Cancùn there are a lot of grottos. My family and I watched a lot of soccer because the Euro 2016 was going on. I discovered that at the end of the main beach in club med there was a huge rock peninsula that was approximately the size of half a New York City block. I built a sandcastle with my cousin but sadly it was to close to the beach and got knocked over by a wave. For our whole trip we stayed in club med and didn’t go anywhere else. I experienced the warmest bluest water in a beach and the softest sand. I felt happy and exited to be with my family. Some of them I only get to see twice a year, and to go wherever I want whenever with them, it was a great experience.
In this photo my grandparents are surrounded by my cousins and I.
Here, 2 out of my 4 cousins named Vittorio and Rosalina and I are riding the “bugi”.
