On January 21st there was the women’s march in Washington. About 470,000 people were at the march. That’s around three times as many people who went to Donald Trump’s Inauguration. According to the Women’s March on Washington website the reason for the march is to “Send a bold message to our new government on their first day in office, and to the world that women’s rights are human rights.” There has been marches all over the world. There has been marches in New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Kenya, Boston, London, and many more.
