I talked with one of my dads about the FBI vs. Apple debate and he says he strongly believes in privacy laws, but in this case he disagrees with Apple because of the seriousness of the terrorist threats and it is a matter of national security. I agree with him because I thought that the FBI should have a warrant to be able to get into someone’s iPhone. I told this to him and he told me they did have a warrant. This really surprised me, because I think being able to go into some’s iPhone is like being able to go into somebody’s bag or house, they’re personal things but if they have a warrant the FBI can go through it.

I talked with my dad, again, about the hospital ransom and he believes that the hospital did the right thing in paying out the ransom because they had the responsibility towards their patients and it could be a matter of life and death. He thinks now they will need to prop up their security and this is a warning to every business. I agree because if lives are at stake, and there is no way out, you should pay the ransom.
