Singing It’s a Hard Knock Life
This summer I went to sleep away and day camp. At both camps I loved to do acting. At sleep away camp I did a scene from the Lion King with my friends Sophia and Sammy. At day camp we did a mini play. My acting instructor wrote the play. It was about Broadway being shut down so the actors have to bring it back. We sang songs from musicals like, Give My Regards to Broadway, Loverly, One short day, Little People, Seize the day, It’s a Hard Knock Life, When I Grow Up, I Won’t Grow Up, You’ll be back and One. I remember when we got our characters we were all super excited. I was Peggy from Hamilton. Everyone was excited when we got our costumes too. I had so much fun doing this play and I wish I could do it all over again.

I bet that camp was so fun! Did you meet any new friend there? I’d love to see you act out a scene, maybe you should be in the school play.
