So Dan and Jen gave us this line on a piece of paper and they said try to make any type of animal out of this line then write a story about this animal. Then a few weeks later they told us to write a sequel to the story so these are my stories I hope you like them!

 

Lard is the sensitive kind of pig who always cares about others but when it comes to food he is definitely not the sensitive kind. One day Lard was walking around the pen when the food came out. While Lard was running and snorting at the food, Piggy got hurt and scraped her knee.

Lard didn’t know what to do he was looking back and forth at both things. He had to decide quickly or else the food will be gone. He had to make the choice “hmmm”, he thought, he looked at the food then at Piggy his friend he decided to go for the food.

He thought after he got the food he would go back and help Piggy. So he inhaled all his food and went back to where hurt Piggy was. When he saw she wasn’t there he was sad because he wanted to help her after he ate his food.

So he went around looking for the Piggy when he found her he said, “are you okay? I was going to help you but then I got scared that the food was going to run out”.

Piggy was really mad at Lard because he put the food before her so she said “Lard you are so skinny!” Then Lard got mad at piggy, he got really mad he started snorting at Piggy and then Piggy started snorting back. They went on like that for the rest of the day. But then on the next day Lard did something nice to Piggy, he said that Piggy was the fattest pig in the pen then Piggy forgave him and said the same thing to Lard.

 

A few weeks later in the pig pen still everything is normal Lard scampering to the food and Piggy getting annoyed with Lard because he almost runs over her. And then Lard getting mad at Piggy and then both of them making up again. I think Lard is eating right now actually.

 

Hi it’s piggy from the book before this I will be narrating this time because Lard is eating right now.

So I was walking around the pen a couple days ago when the food came out. I was walking to the food when Lard scampered right past me. I wasn’t surprised.

Just then Lard tripped right when the food came out he was so sad that he wasn’t the first pig there.

The food was almost gone, when Piggy saw Lard, she felt bad for Lard but the food was almost gone. So Piggy got a quick bite and then she went back to where Lard was. But Lard wasn’t there “again” Piggy said. So she looked for Lard. When she finally found him he was really mad her. “I’m so sorry but I was really hungry, and besides you did the same thing to me”, said Piggy.

“So” said Lard.

“It’s not nice to do it again”,

“Thats true but the food was almost gone and when it happened to you, the food was still their” said Piggy.

“Fine”  said Lard “So truce?”

“Yes truce”.

“I think there is  still a little bit of food left so let’s go and eat.” said Piggy.

“Alright sounds good to me” said Lard.

My favorite book review of the school year was Blubber. It was my favorite because it was very descriptive and it had a lot of good thoughts and ideas.

Another book review i’d like to mention is the one I  wrote about the book A Wrinkle in Time. I thought  it was very thought out and very well written. I think this because I described all the details and the thoughts.

We read a book called Kai’s journey to Gold Mountain. When we were done reading it we made a poem of Kai’s journey in his perspective.

 

In the beginning of the year we studied the Statue of Liberty and the poem for it then we drew a picture for a line in the poem.

These are the maps that we did in the beginning of the year. During the year we studied geography. It helped us know where our immigrants came from.

In the middle of the year we had an assignment and there was a picture of a little girl and we were suposed today write what we thought she was thinking.
