Blog Post on Exit Polling
Tuesday morning during “Big Time” we went to this voting place to do exit polling. I learned the definition of exit polling. An election exit poll is a poll of voters taken immediately after they have exited the polling stations. Unlike an opinion poll, which asks for whom the voter plans to vote, or some similar formulation, an exit poll asks for whom the voter actually voted. So that is the definition I learned and yeah. A preliminary election to appoint delegates to a party conference or to select the candidates for a principal, especially presidential, election. Some things that surprised me when we were doing the exit polling activity was, I thought people would pick different presidential primaries but we got a ton if the same presidential primaries. We only had a couple of people that voted for Donald Trump. My experience on Exit Polling was really fun but, it wasn’t fun when you went up to a person and they smiled at you a put all their attention to you and then they just walk past you all sassy and everything (lol).
