Muscular System

The muscular system helps you move. It has tendons that connect the muscle to the bone. The muscular system closely interacts with the skeletal system because it has some of the same pieces. Another fun discovery that we made was that all of our body parts that we worked on individually connected in the muscular system. Our question is, “Can muscles ever control themselves instead of waiting for the brain’s signal?”

Are Humans Following the rules?

The article that I read is about a bear named Tuffy. Tuffy was a bear that was trapped in this metal bar cage that was fairly small. Tuffy was kept in this horrible cage for a long time and then one day was rescued from Bile Farm. In a way the were kind of abusing Tuffy because they put the poor bear in a small metal cage for a long time and not giving it the right treatment the animals needs. I think this Tuffy article relates to “We’re All In This Together” rule because we all are in this together to help the world especially animals. Etc… I don’t think this is an example of following the rules because these people took a bear in and just put it in this crapy metal cage that hurts the bear and physically too. The metal bars are rough on the bears paws and the paws can start cracking from walking on bars and not grass like there supposed to be. But on the other hand, Bile Farm did the right thing and recused Tuffy and put it in an environment the bear should have been in from the start!

There is No Such Place as Away

Imagine doing an activity that you love. “OK, you got it?” Then Imagine doing that activity surrounded by trash. Not fun and pretty gross, right? Yea, well some of our trash that we make gets thrown into the ocean and it ruins the environment. I bet you definitely don’t want to play in the trash!   HOW MUCH DO WE WASTE DAILY?-The average person a day generates/makes 4.3 pounds of waste per day. Where does it all go? 55% of 220 million tons of waste generated each year in the United States ends up in one of the over 3,500 landfills. When you throw things away it doesn’t actually go away. Everything is made out of atoms so when you throw something away the atoms don’t go away nor the trash. The animals you sometimes see in zoos are dying that are wild in the world because the trash looks like food and the animals eat it and it could be sharp and might cut them from the inside.

If we find a way to stop the trash from ruining the environment and that is safe we could avoid sad problems that happened around the world. Also, the rate of pollution could drop. The problem with  that is that it’s really hard to get done because there is a ton of pollution all over the world. The universe has too many flaws for only one person to try to succeed so we need everyone aka as many people we could to help.

My Version Of The Big Bang

Hey everybody look at my science project that I made of the Big Bang! When we first started our project we had nothing to do because we were having some trouble. But then we kept having Ideas and we tried some of those but sometimes that backed fire on us. Then in one class we were going to give up but we persevered through. And we made a great idea and we made it an accurate project! And you can watch the video up top!  Something that was accurate was we had blue balloons that had a red string around them and that was hydrogen that was clumped together. Then something that wasn’t accurate was that the balloons were tangling and some of the balloons weren’t the same size to the other ones.
