End of the Summer Reflection
Summer 2k16 I would say I learned so many things! Especially learning new things about myself I like to do then just in general. As you know from previous posts, I went to sleep away camp. One thing that sticks out from the camp that I learned about myself is, I like riflery. At first, I didn’t know what that was but that didn’t stop me from trying it. After trying riflery I found myself signing up for it every day. I liked shooting a gun at a specific part of a paper, we shot at. That’s not the only thing I learned. But, I have to say at camp I learned more about myself then on daily bassists.
Out of camp, I learned that I like editing videos and uploading them to different social medias. I know it’s not a big thing but I would pick up a phone and start vlogging. After I recorded everything I would sit down and edit the material I recorded and made it have audio, effects, credits, etc…
I big thing that I learned is that if you stop something for a long time and then come back to it you can come back loving it more than you did before. I stopped soccer for the school year, came back and did 4 soccer camps. Loved it In a way I hadn’t before. Bottom line is that I learned how to love soccer again!
Summer break I saw many things. Things from going to museums to seeing Britney Spears’s house from a jet ski on a lake. Let me be more specific! I went to Los Angeles and went to see fun, creative, inspiring, cool exhibits. At the museum my family and I went to an exhibit where you go in this room where it is “raining” and you walk slowly so the sensors above you could see where you are.

Because, it would stop raining where you were so you didn’t have to get poured on. That was my favorite exhibit we saw. I went on a jet ski and we passed where Britney’s house was. Also, the lake I was at was where the “Parent Trap” Was filmed at.
This summer I traveled kinda a lot. I went to Arizona, California in the dessert, Los Angeles, Cape Cod, and upstate. I went to Los Angeles to sleep away camp and afterward vacation in Los Angels. Cape Cod and Upstate for relaxation and soccer camps!
I would say that I had a lit 2k16 summer break, that was filled with laughs, conversations, new experiences, and most of all craziness. I’m excited for 6th grade!
The rain exhibit sounds amazing! What a cool way to use sensors. I imagine it must be very fun to feel like you are in the middle of a rain shower without getting wet.
