There is No Such Place as Away

Imagine doing an activity that you love. “OK, you got it?” Then Imagine doing that activity surrounded by trash. Not fun and pretty gross, right? Yea, well some of our trash that we make gets thrown into the ocean and it ruins the environment. I bet you definitely don’t want to play in the trash!   HOW MUCH DO WE WASTE DAILY?-The average person a day generates/makes 4.3 pounds of waste per day. Where does it all go? 55% of 220 million tons of waste generated each year in the United States ends up in one of the over 3,500 landfills. When you throw things away it doesn’t actually go away. Everything is made out of atoms so when you throw something away the atoms don’t go away nor the trash. The animals you sometimes see in zoos are dying that are wild in the world because the trash looks like food and the animals eat it and it could be sharp and might cut them from the inside.

If we find a way to stop the trash from ruining the environment and that is safe we could avoid sad problems that happened around the world. Also, the rate of pollution could drop. The problem with  that is that it’s really hard to get done because there is a ton of pollution all over the world. The universe has too many flaws for only one person to try to succeed so we need everyone aka as many people we could to help.
