This is my Mandarin Movie that I made with Kate and Emily. We had to make a movie about a Chinese holiday, so we did The Mid-Autumn festival. Xin said that we did a good job, but we needed to focus on our movie making skills a little bit more.
In Mandarin this quarter we have been learning about nationalities. This is a set that Xin made for us that has all the countries on it.

In class, we are learning about pictographic characters. That is when the character looks like the meaning. For example, character for mountain looks like 3 mountains. That’s what I chose, shān. We had to write the character and a paragraph about it.
