China Trip Reflection

One of my favorite parts of the China trip was the school visit. It was really cool learn what school is like in different cultures. When you are on vacation with your family you don’t usually o to see other schools which made it even cooler. Another thing that was really cool to see was the great wall because thing like it doesn’t really exist in the US because we were created as a country later on and therefore don’t have as many ancient structures. In also the Idea that they build it all by manpower without the help of machines. They had to move all the supplies to the top of the mountain and them build the wall.

My Photoshop Project

To make my poster I took a photo while riding on a ferry on the way back from the beach. Then I masked out the water and replaced it with a photo of lava flowing down the side of a mountain and put it where the water used to be. Once I had replaced the water I took a photo of a person paddle boarding on calm water and masked that out and put it on top of the lava. I made sure to include the shadow to make the person more realistic. After all that was done I added smoke on top so that it looked like the person was paddle boarding on the side of subterranean volcano. I think that the shadows reallt make it look real because the sun is setting so if they weren’t there it would kind of kill the vibe.
