Jim the spy chicken
Once upon a time there was a chicken named Jim. He wasn’t just a normal chicken. He was a SPY chicken! Jim went on a lot of dangerous missions. His job included stopping evil people from butchering his chicken friends. He also had to get information about the most evil chicken in the land, Mr. Evil Chicken! He was so good, when he took his lunch break he even found a mystery there! He was so amazing his boss put him on the elite team. Jim was so proud, but his mother was not. “You could have gotten killed!” she said one night. “Mom don’t worry I had it under control.” he replied. “Sure you were just about to be put in a meat grinding machine!” she screamed. Jim got one of these lectures every night. “Why can’t you be more like your brother, Phil?” she yelled. Phil looked very smug in the corner. Phil was a multi-millionaire. He was also Jim’s mother’s favorite chick. “You shouldn’t ruffle mother’s feathers.” Phil said matter-of-factly with his beak high in the air.
The next day Jim went to work thinking about what his mother had said. “Maybe mother’s right,” he thought.”Maybe I should stop being a spy.” An old chicken propped up against the brick wall said, “Don’t give up son.” “But I want to make mother happy.” Jim replied. “Here, take this note, meet me where the note tells you after your day is done.” Jim took the note and read it. “Isn’t this near Mr. Evil Chicken’s lair?”Jim asked. “Don’t worry son you’re in good hands.” Jim looked suspicious. “Think about it, I can help you.” he said. Jim walked away thinking about the man’s offer. All day his head was back at the brick wall with the man. He went to sit next to his friend, Derek. Jim told Derek all about what had happened that morning and showed him the note. “You shouldn’t go, that man sounds very suspicious and he wants to meet near Mr. Evil Chicken’s lair. Don’t you think that is a little creepy?” Derek told him. “I want to know more about this man and how he can help, I have to figure it out.” Jim replied. Jim couldn’t resist a good mystery. “Ok, go but don’t say I didn’t warn you!” said Derek like the know it all he is.
After work Jim rode his bike down the dark alley where Mr. Evil Chicken lived. And just as expected stood the old chicken. Jim rode closer and saw that he was standing next to Mr. Evil Chicken! “Mr. Evil Chicken?” Jim asked. “Yes it is. I am Mr. Evil Chicken!” he hollered. “ And this here man is my great-great-great uncle. He is part of my whole plan.” Then with a crash an iron cage falls around Jim. “There is no way out!” he yells. Jim tries to squeeze between the bars but no luck. “There really is no way out.” Jim whispers as he falls to his chicken knees.
