While we were reading Beowulf we annotated the text. We circled and defined vocabulary, underlined important parts and wrote chapter summaries. Annotating the text is important because it helps you understand parts you don’t know. If you are trying to look back at the text you don’t have to flip through all the pages because your chapter summaries help you. I am proud that I defined every word that I didn’t know. One thing I could improve on are my summary skills.
